Organ Donor Program
At the time of death, many hospitals are required to have the family contacted by an organ donor program. We encourage families to discuss organ donation with each other before that decision has to be made during a time of grief.
Social Security Administration
Social Security provides several benefits including Surviving Spouse, Widow's Benefits, etc. This site not only addresses issues of death benefits but also will help with understanding retirement benefits.
Veteran's Administration
Many families are priveleged to have a member who has proudly served our country in the armed services. This site will help with questions that many veterans and their families ask not only concerning death but also other benefits. We provide many of the forms including flag forms, death benefits and the military grave marker forms.
Veteran's Burial Gravesite Locator
The Department of Veterans Affairs recently added online maps of gravesites in national cemeteries, making it easier for visitors to locate the more than three million veterans and dependents buried in them. You can also locate veterans buired in private cemeteries, although there are no maps.
Virginia State Anatomical Board
Many people wish to donate their body to science. This site will provide information about body donation in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
